United is partnering with the Sanneh Foundation to host its most intense camp yet. Participants will take part in a 24-hour, 4-day program immersed in soccer culture and a professional atmosphere. Train like the pros with practice sessions that mirror the preseason training schedule of Minnesota United’s starting XI.
Participants of Minnesota United’s Residential Camp will spend four nights at Gustavus Adolphus campus and should pack accordingly.
The Sanneh Foundation, a youth development organization, provides life skills programs for at-risk children using soccer as the catalyst to empower kids, improve lives and unite communities. We empower kids by providing leadership skill development and mentoring, along with access to a safe and healthy environment to learn and play. We improve lives by supporting and promoting educational attainment through in-school and after-school programming, tutoring and college preparatory training. We unite communities by advancing diversity, promoting community service and fighting racism through individual training and institutional change.
Tony Sanneh, president and CEO of the Sanneh Foundation, is a retired professional soccer player. He played in the MLS and German Bundesliga and participated in the Champions League and 2002 World Cup for the United States. Tony holds a B License and is a US Soccer Developmental Scout. He serves as a Sports Envoy on behalf of the Sports United Division of the US Department of States’ Bureau of educational and Cultural Affairs.

Minnesota United represents the next era of professional soccer in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
We are proud of who and what has come before us—from the raucous party that was the Kicks, the magical years the Thunder spent developing local talent, to the recent 2014 NASL Spring Season Championship.
Now we are excited for what the future holds. We seek to help the world’s game grow in the Twin Cities through strong play on the field and constant giveback off it.
